1. The Service

Avocado (the “Service”), operated by Avocado Technology at avocado.tech, is an intelligence platform that helps teams capture, organize, and query operational knowledge. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. Accounts are created by signing in with your Google account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Provide accurate information when using the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, without limitation: no unlawful or harmful activity; no attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; no reverse engineering, scraping, or automated extraction except as permitted by law; no interfering with or disrupting the Service; and no uploading malicious code.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its source code, design, text, and graphics, is owned or controlled by Avocado Technology or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

The Avocado name, the avocado mark, and related trademarks, service marks, and logos are trademarks of Avocado Technology. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. You may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit the Service, remove copyright or trademark notices, or frame the Service without permission.

5. Disclaimers and Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avocado Technology is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.
